The stock rear shock on the Tuareg 660 is designed more for road comfort than serious off-road use. While adequate on smooth surfaces, it quickly shows its limits when pushed on rough terrain — too soft, with insufficient damping once the suspension is working hard. Our upgrade kit corrects this, providing increased compression and rebound control throughout the entire stroke for a more stable, controlled ride.

Important Installation Note

This is not a DIY kit. No modifications are needed to the included parts, but servicing a shock absorber requires specialist knowledge and tools. If you are not experienced in shock servicing, we strongly recommend having this kit installed by a professional suspension technician.
