DesertX Fork Upgrade Kit – Unlock the Full Potential of Your Suspension

Our kit is engineered to improve responsiveness and deliver consistent suspension performance across diverse riding conditions.

The Ducati DesertX comes equipped with KYB 46mm fork legs featuring a new cartridge design not seen before from KYB – a 20mm cartridge with a 10mm shaft in a split configuration, placing both rebound and compression adjusters at the top of the forks. While innovative, our test rides and suspension dyno analysis revealed a limitation: the stock forks lack sufficient damping, leaving performance biased towards softer road use rather than serious off-road riding.

Developed for Real Adventure

After extensive testing on both tarmac and rugged adventure tracks, our suspension specialists identified the need for more compression and rebound support. Through meticulous engineering and repeated testing, we developed internal modifications that raise damping performance to match – and even surpass – other premium adventure bikes.

The result is a fork that offers greater control, stability, and resilience across the full stroke. See the dyno graph in the product images:
